The Storied Shelf started with a hunt — for sports memorabilia, forgotten treasures, and the thrill of the unexpected.

John (our in-house treasure hunter) was always chasing that perfect find: not the one you click to buy, but the one you stumble across in the last box, on the last shelf, in the last place you’d expect. But when your are hunting for treasure, they don't just let you take the one thing you are looking for, you gotta take it all. One find led to another… then a dozen more… and pretty soon, our garage (and parts of our house) looked like a pop-up shop in progress.

With a little chaos and a lot of curiosity, our whole family got involved — sorting, organizing, and turning the best of what we uncovered into something worth sharing.
